Module 1:
Perspectives
CHOOSE A WORLD
List of Worlds
All participants will study Sun, Earth,
and Moon as worlds for main comparisons.
In addition, each participant is to
choose one other world in our Solar System. These worlds
will be used for comparison. The participant will study the
solid surface, atmosphere, orbit, and other characteristics
of the chosen world in the course of many homework
assignments, will bring information about the world to the
discussion when it is relevant, and will synthesize
knowledge about that world in the final module (7).

- Jupiter
- Saturn
- Io
- Triton
- Ganymede
- Miranda
- Oberon
- Titania
- Europa
- Iapetus
- Enceladus
- Ariel
- Mimas
- Callisto
- Eros
- Tethys
- Rhea
