This page contains a list of scheduled project events, and key milestones and deliverables.


Events

November, 1997 - CERES activities presented at the National Science Teachers Association Regional Conference (NSTA) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

April 1998 - CERES Field Test Activities and results presented at the National Science Teachers (NSTA) Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada

November 1998 - CERES Field Test Activities demonstrated to K-12 teachers during a hands-on, telecommunication workshop at Supercomputing '98 in Orlando, Florida

March, 1999 - CERES activities demonstrated during a presentation at the Mathematics and Science Educational Technology Conference (M/SET) in San Antonio, Texas.


Milestones and Deliverables

1) Creation of NASA CERES Activities for use in the K-12 Science Classroom.

2) Activities field-tested by K-12 instructors throughout the United States.

3) Field-test teachers complete activities and generate feedback about the activities.

4) Activities revised based upon the suggestions from the field test teachers.
