Student Task Card

Job assignments (one data recorder,
two direction assistants, one presenter) in the cooperative groups should
be changed.

The group should select 4 scale
objects (cars, doll furniture, etc.) to measure.

The group should select 3 items
to use for measurement (i.e. plastic links, large and/or small paper clips,
unit blocks, rulers)

The direction assistants take
turns making the measurements.

The recorder documents the data
as the measurements are being taken.

The group should measure as many
"real" objects (cars, furniture, etc.) as possible, to compare to the scale
objects.

The group should select 3 items
