April serves as an astronomer at the Fernbank Science Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been teaching in planetariums for the last 20 years, and serves as Education Chair for the International Planetarium Society. Mrs. Whitt enjoys sharing the excitement about space with teachers and students of all ages.
