Course Description: This course will prepare students for the state and national examinations required for Emergency Medical Technician certification, and will include both classroom hours and emergency room observation. Upon successful completion of the course and recommendation of the instructors, students will enter into the Montana and National Registry of EMTs certification process which consists of written, skills and scenario exams. Passing those exams certifies students to perform life-saving skills in the pre-hospital setting as EMT-Basics. This course includes CPR certification.
This course may also be taken for credit
Meeting Place and Times: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. One Saturday session to be named later.

Prerequisites: Minimum age of 18, high school diploma or GED equivalent, and admission through application and interview.
Cost: $700.00
$190 additional charge for credit.
