Course Description: Come and hear the conductor and singers discuss Mozart’s Magic Flute which is to be presented by the Intermountain Opera Association on May 16, 18 and 20. Julian Dawson, the conductor for this year’s performance and four of the principal singers will share experiences of performing the Magic Flute. Ken Christianson will be our accompanist for the singers who will sing excerpts from the opera. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear marvelous world class voices and ask questions about Mozart, the Magic Flute and what it is like to sing opera.
We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to see opera from the inside and celebrate Mozart’s 250th birthday a year late.
