Course Description: The Johaneks will present Montana Folks from their three books: Montana Behind the Scenes, Montana Folks, and The Yellowstone National Park Cookbook. Behind the Scenes is a compilation of backroads in Montana. Montana Folks is a statewide living history of 57 people who are either uniquely Montana or unique to Montana. The cookbook is chock-full of recipes and spiced with biographies of 19 people who are connected to Yellowstone National Park.
The slide presentation will include a question and answer period.

Instructor(s): John Johanek. John Johanek is a magazine design consultant and partner in Ayers/Johanke Publication Design, Inc. He writes a regular column for Editors Only and is a frequent contributor to Folio and other publishing trade magazines. He is originally from Wisconsin and is a fervent Packer fan. Durrae Johanek. Durrae Johanek is a graduate in English from Kutztown University and works as an editorial freelancer. She has written several nature related articles for Popular Mechanics and Bird Watcher’s Digest, which she also edits.
The Johaneks are avid birders, wildlife watchers, and snowshoers, and whenever they can, they take to the back roads in search of all three.
