Course Description: This Side Trip is open to the public! Preview the upcoming opera Die Fledermaus. This is a wonderful light comic opera by Johann Strauss. We will hear from some of the principal singers in the opera as well as the conductor and director. This is a great opportunity to meet the performers and learn about the history of this particular opera, its composer and its presentation here in Bozeman. The singers will perform some short numbers to whet our appetites. The opera will be presented by the Intermountain Opera Association on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. in the Willson Auditorium. You are encouraged to get tickets early.
