Course Description: At MSU’s Space Science and Engineering Laboratory students design, fabricate, test and operate Earth-orbiting satellites. Students apply formal classroom learning to the process by working together in interdisciplinary teams to successfully design, build and operate the sophisticated systems that satellites represent. Dr. Klumpar and his students will provide an illustrated tour of the process from mission conception, to launch, and beyond. The rewards, trials and tribulations of building and operating space hardware prepare the MSU students for their future careers. How do I become a member?
Meeting Place and Times: 3-5 p.m., Pilgrim Congregational Church on South 3rd
