Course Description: Ray Campeau will lead a tour of the Martin/Campeau late Victorian home built in 1892. Bozeman pioneer/farmer/banker James Martin contracted George Hancock, a visiting architect who designed the St. James Church and the Bozeman Hotel, to design it. In 1967, the Campeaus bought the home from the Martin estate and have felt a commitment to preserve and maintain the home with its original furniture, lighting and drapes. During this tour, experience the same sights and ambience of a person walking in the home in 1892 while listening to the history and many stories about this well-preserved home.
