Course Description:

Hone your Excel skills by learning how to use multiple worksheets and workbooks efficiently. Sort worksheet rows, freeze headings and split worksheet windows. Discover how to insert art; draw, move, size, rotate and add styles; and create SmartArt. Use Office templates and create custom templates. Learn about worksheet protection, setting a password and digital signatures. Copy and move worksheets, copy formatting between worksheets and use linked formulas.

There is a minimum enrollment for this course and if not met, the course may be cancelled and fees fully refunded.

Julie Heard.
Julie is a graduate of MT Tech with a B.A. in Public Policy and Communications. Julie taught adult education with the Belgrade and Bozeman adult education programs, developing several courses for adult learners. In addition Julie trained employees and clients while working for the Dept. of Commerce and the Dept. of Justice. Julie also teaches a computer applications course for MSU Gallatin College Programs. Julie enjoys teaching with a bit of humor and a whole lot of patience.

Computer courses require the purchase of a textbook, available through the MSU Bookstore General Books Department (located in the middle of the bookstore) in the Strand Union Building. Students need to have their textbooks before the first day of class. Most textbooks are under $30.
Academic priced software is available to Extended University, non-credited students for your enrolled course only. Please provide proof of course enrollment at the time of the software purchase.
