Course Description: This curriculum has been developed to help teachers and other adults who work in schools and other youth development programs to be more effective in their work with young people. The course is a series of 12 interactive sessions designed to teach educators and other adults working in youth-serving programs the fundamental principles of positive youth development needed to support and strengthen positive outcomes for all young people. This on-site course will be taught by County Extension Agents and will be offered only at specific locations and times.

Prerequisites: Either graduate standing, teaching experience, and/or current employment as in in-service educator; preferred pre-requisite is one or more of the following courses: EDCI 208, EDCI 209, EDCI 469, EDCI 508, EDCI 531, EDCI 533, EDCI 541, or EDCI 550.
