How to find out your WebCT ID (aka WebCT Username):
Your WebCT ID is the same 8-digit number as your MSU Student ID (8 digits - includes all leading zeroes but does not include the minus sign at the front of the 8 digit number).
*Note: Your
Student ID number is different than your social security number.
*Note: If you have one, your MSU One Card has your MSU Student ID number
on it.
If you do not know your MSU Student ID number you can get it off the Web:

If the above
URL doesn’t work, try this:
Go to the Montana State University Homepage (http://www.montana.edu/);
Select "My Info" from the “Current Students” drop down menu; Select the
"Enter Secure Area" hotlink. Both of these paths will take you to the
“User Login” page.
After getting to the “User Login” page, follow the directions regarding entering your User ID and PIN to log in to your account.
Once you are in your account area, select the "Personal Information" hotlink. Then select the "View WebCT ID" hotlink. The number displayed is your WebCT ID (aka WebCT Username).
If you have trouble getting into the secure area, call the ITC Helpdesk at 406-994-1777.
Log in to MSU WebCT:
Go to http://webct.montana.edu to log in.
Initially, by default, your WebCT Password is the same as your WebCT Username. We recommend that you change your password as soon as possible. If you forget your new password, the ITC Helpdesk (406-994-1777) can reset it to the default.
